Its good, especially for short term. Great location close to Moody and right on the river. The two bedroom units are tiny and only have one bathroom on the second floor and cheaply put together (the tub squeaks). I would love to have a conversation with the designer because the color palettes are all over the place it can be an eye sore. Poorly insulated so the heating bills were astronomical in the winter and ac had to be on in the summer unless you wanted heat stroke. Hallways are soooo narrow... only one person can walk down at a time. Loved the exposed brick, neighbors were friendly and I never worried about parking or had a package go missing. You can definitely find better nearby.

This is a historic building with nice views on the Charles from some of the units that face the river (more expensive, of course). Rent is on the high side. Design is modern and appealing but corners were cut in building materials and some design elements. For example, the bathrooms are puny and bath made of motel-like cheap plastic. Management tries to keep good maintenance of the property. However, having lived here for quite some time I experienced some shocking behavior by some employees... of the rental office: my unit was literally burst into without notice or advance coordination when I was resting, in order to show it to prospective residents. The same employee seems to have done so with other units so may not be a mistake. It's shocking violation of privacy which may or may not be supported by management.

I highly recommend your consideration to join the fabulous and diverse community of people and pets here at the WFL. After living 32 years in Framingham, I moved back to my hometown of Waltham. I couldn't believe how quickly this place felt like home. That was amazing to me. The Leasing Office Staff is so dedicated and professional. They go the extra mile every day to make the residents content in every way. I thank the Lord every day that I found this place. My best friend Godiva and I love... living here. The units are very high end as far as I'm concerned and view of Boston from the top of Mt. Feake is quite a site!

I highly recommend the Watch Factory Loft apartments. I love that they kept the historical integrity of the building and that it is directly on the river walk! Easy access to everything in Waltham and Boston. Plus, it is clean, comfortable and the staff is helpful and welcoming.
